Living History Events

For those involved in living history, there is a fascination about how people lived and survived in the past.  Whichever era you choose to research and portray, there remains a mystique.  Like modern forensic specialists we dig and search attempting to find the missing links to the past.  The quest for research yields boundless resources for those involved in living history.  The culmination of that research for many of us is the living history event, such as a reenactment or rendezvous.

Living history takes many forms, from Renaissance through the Vietnam Conflict. We at Living-history.net will focus on reenactments in American history from the French & Indian War through the American Civil War. If you host an event not listed on our site and would like to do so, please fill out this form.

Living-history.net has attempted to break the endless list down by era, thus making it easier to look for the information a little more expediently.  Each era has its own page.  Click on the links below find a living history event in your area.
