Long term campers, long term Sutlers, and those packing in may set-up on the lower level (wooded area) of the site. For early set-up on June 16th & 17th there is no time limit for set-up or vehicle unloading. On Friday June 18th, vehicles will be allowed into the lower site for 1 hour for unloading and then vehicles must be moved to the designated parking area. After Friday June 18th no vehicles will be allowed to enter the lower level until Saturday’s closing ceremonies. This will be strictly enforced. Short term campers and late comers will set up on the upper level or the hay field. For early set-up on June 16th & 17th there is no time limit for set-up or vehicle unloading. Starting on Friday June 18th there will be a 1 hour time limit for loading and unloading vehicles at which time vehicles must be moved to the designated parking area. All vehicles will park in the designated parking area within 1 hour of gate closing. There will be no camping permitted in the parking area. These rules will be strictly enforced. Starting on Friday June 18th, after opening ceremonies, everyone must be in primitive attire within ½ hour after canvas is up and at all times until Saturday’s closing ceremonies. Medallions will be required to enter the rendezvous AT ALL TIMES including entry at competitions. Handicapped camping is available. Please notify gate captain upon arrival for details.
SET-UP: General set-up Wednesday & Thursday; early set-up fees apply.
Pre-registered camps and traders: Wednesday June 16th & Thursday June 17th (no early set-up fees)
Opening Ceremony Friday June 18 8 p.m.
Closing Ceremony Saturday June 26 12 p.m.
General set-up: Starting Friday June 18th. Set-up times during event are 7am to 7pm.
All clothing, lodges and accouterments must be in the period of 1640 through 1840 in North America. Absolutely no modern footwear and sunglasses of any kind, unless medically required. Period eyewear is encouraged for those wearing glasses. Eye and hearing protection is encouraged on the firing line only! All modern items (coolers, bottles, plastic, etc.) must be kept out of sight at all times. All photography equipment (cameras, camcorders, etc.) must be covered when not in use and NO flash photography. Cell phones should be kept out of sight at all times with ringer turned off. All NRLHF Rules and Regulations apply.

High Tor is a New York State Wildlife Management area located at the top of South Hill in Middlesex. This site is said to be the birth place of the Seneca Nation, with Bare Hill and its legend of the great Serpent right to the north, we have a lot of Seneca history to enjoy. All are welcome to this North Eastern Primitive Rendezvous where historic demonstrations and our children will be our primary focus, as they are our future. NOTE : pre-registration ends June 10, 2010, refer to pre registration form attached for fees, if your not pre registered the following cost apply: Adult 18 and over $10 extra per person at the gate, and $5 a day per person until official start of the Rendezvous July 10th.
EARLY SET UP DAYS : July 7th-9th, 2010 – fees apply if not pre-registered.
GATE HOURS : July 7th -10th , 8 am-5 pm, July 11 – 17th, 8am-10am & 3pm – 5 pm Rendezvous Rules go into effect July 10th.
* No pets (except Booshway approved equines) allowed in primitive camp*
Firewood, water, hooters, trash pick-up and ice (for sale) will be available. Registration Forms can be printed via our main page or Foundation Office at 904-236-4832. Note: This is a pre 1840 event and all tentage, clothing, footwear, and visible accoutrements need to be of this time period. Traders Row will be open to the public throughout the week 10am-4pm.

Midwest Primitive Rendezvous

This year's MWPR will be held near access to the Ontonagon River and Lake Superior. Special guest speaker John Curry. Events include a youth muzzleloader safety class, coppersmithing, history of wampum, birch bark articles, and calligraphy. Usual NRLHF rules apply.
All registrations must be postmarked no later than 30 days before the start of the rendezvous. The business office will return all pre-registrations to the sender that are postmarked after the 30-day deadline. The senders will then have to register at the rendezvous gate.

The Southeastern Rendezvous is a large encampment of living history buffs portraying every manner of pre-1840 historical characters including French & Indian War soldiers, Colonial militia, frontier longhunters, mountain men, Native American Indians, trades people, frontier settlers and a great variety of historic crafts and craftsmen. This event also includes historical craft and skills seminars, a variety of games and entertainment, shooting events for the old-timey muzzleloaders, and children's activities.
