The Indiana Territroy Festival is a juried 1816 event celebrating the making of the state of Indiana. New participants must provide photos of their camp, clothing, and gear for the vent. We will allow interpretations from 1808 to 1825. No natives or British soldiers please. The event is focused around Corydon as the state capitol of Indiana in 1816.

The most authentic living history event in the state. Alabama Frontier Days is a wonderful opportunity to see the unique culture of the south as it was transformed from Creek Indian lands to pioneer settler forts and homesteads during the period of 1700 to 1820. French Fort Toulouse will be occupied by a full force of authentically dressed French Colonial Marines, and a War of 1812 camp will be set up next to Fort Jackson. Various demonstrations and period entertainment are also scheduled.

The Hillsborough River State Park will present its Annual Event at the Fort Foster State Historic Site. This event is a living history reenactment featuring military, Seminole, and civilian reenactors, sutlers, traders, and craft demonstrations. School Days- Thursday 2/12/09 and Friday 2/13/09. Admission is a $2.00 donation per student � 'scholarships' may be available for home school students and for classes of students from area schools (Teachers/Chaperones are Free). Registration forms are available at the park or by calling (813) 987-6771. The general public is also welcome on the 2/12/09 and 2/13/09, but no battles will be fought on these days. On Saturday 2/14/ 09 and Sunday 2/15/09 there will be skirmishes after 1:00 pm, as the reenactor Seminoles try to burn the bridge and the reenactor soldiers defend it. Refreshments will be available for visitors' enjoyment. The Fort Foster State Historic Site is located adjacent to Hillsborough River State Park on U.S. 301 North, 9 miles north of Fowler Avenue and 6 miles south of Zephyrhills. Fees: Public admission for this event is a $5 donation per person ages 13 and over. 12 years and under free.

Explore life on Isle Dauphine in the 1700-1800s. Visit with French, British, and Spanish soldiers. A part of Napoleon's Old Guard, that formed the Colony in Demopolis, AL., will be on hand to demonstrate soldier life of this time-perod. They will do drilling and fire the cannon. You'll see authentic camping in the fort. There will be candle making, and open-hearth cooking. You'll see settlers competing in bow and arrow skills.

This is a perfect beginner rendezvous, that also has enough events to satisfy the most avid black powder shooters. We have Men, Women, Junior and PeeWee classifications. We do rifle, pistol, smoothbore, shotgun, cannon shoot, primitive archery, hawk & knife, pot luck and more! Primitive and tin tipi areas, no water provided, but firewood is available and we do expect to be able to have open fires. Very large RV's not recommended on 1 mile dirt road. The living history encampment is a pre-1840 college style rendezvous. It is at the Cherokee Strip Land Rush Museum, therefore its main purpose is to educate the public about the fur trade and skills that people used to survive in that time period. Of course, we are also there to have a good time. :) We would love to have anyone who wished to attend come on down. There is no camp fee, but you need your own wood. This a a fantastic Spring Rendezvous in Southern Utah. Days are warm and nights require a stove, capote and warm body next to you. This is a family oriented Rendezvous with exciting events for all ages. We have a Junior, Men,Women, Ancient (over 55) divisions. The elevation is about 5500 ft and located in the junipers and pinion pines. about 1 mile of good dirt road. Period attire is appreciated but not required unless you camp in primitive camp. Then primitive rules apply. You can come early and stay later then the Rondy dates, just let us know your arrival time. No pre-registration is required except for Traders. Primitive Traders only. This year the PPR returns to California. We have a beautiful site located between Forbestown and Brownsville on New York Flat Road. There are 750 acres with nicely wooded areas and many large meadows for setting up camps or activities. There is a stream running thru the site that runs year round. There is also a small pond near Horse Camp. Elevation of the site is 2350. This is private land leased from the Soper-Wheeler Timber Company. The lease fee for the event will be a donation in Soper-Wheeler’s name to the John Murphy Scholarship Fund (a local community charity). A dirt road runs thru part of the site. It will be closed to public access during the event. Pre-Registration is REQUIRED! Fee will include a medallion for everyone over the age of 12. Failure to pre-register will result in a late fee. A FAMILY is defined as a parent or guardian of legal dependants. Those who plan on only staying a few days will be subject to the same fees as those who attend all week. PPR 2009 will provide toilets, garbage dumpster, and water. POTABLE WATER maybe limited, so plan on filling up before you get to camp. Boiling creek, pond, or spring water for dishes, showers, etc will help us all. There is limited firewood on site. Only use downed trees or wood. NO CUTTING of live trees. Remember the Land Owner uses this land for Timber Harvest. There will be a TREKING CAMP for those who like to trek in. A limited area is available for RVs. RV must be fully contained. Numbers will be limited. A carriage may be available to help get back and forth from parking area or to get around the site for a nominal donation. ICE will be available daily. There will be lots of Shooting Events, as well as Specialty Shoots, Archery, a Knife & Hawk course like you have never seen before, Cannon Shoot, Seminars, and some wonderful creative activities for the younger buckskinners.

Rocky Mountain College Rendezvous is a teaching rendezvous. Everyone is welcome and all levels of participants old and new alike are encouraged to attend. We have classes for all levels to take and enjoy to learn new and enhance the skills needed for the time period. All classes are subject to change depending on the instructors available but have included some of the following subjects: Flintlock 101, Knots and Lashings, Loom-less Beading, Pipe Making, Leather Working, Tortilla Making, Sewing the Old Way, Dutch Oven Baking, Spindle Spinning and many more! Other camp activities have included: Story Telling Contests, Cooking Contest, Frying Pan Toss, Best Dressed Contest, Kids Games, Ladies Games, Naming Ceremony and others. We have both primitive and modern camps, long and short term in the area which is held in the Pike National Forest, the altitude is approx. 9600 to 9800 feet depending on the site location give by the US Forest Service. All participants are encouraged to go slow and drink plenty of water. We are always looking for volunteers to help at camp and try to spread it so no one has to spend their time at camp working. Listen to music, learn about the history of the area, and spend time in the beautiful Minnesota fall weather. 1800's Demonstrations include: Early American Soap Making, Wool Spinning, Weaving, Homestead Kitchen, Bread making, Ash Weaving, Blacksmith, 1890's Pinery Camp, Log Sawyers, Period music, plus more will be added. Re-enactments include: Mississippi Riverboat Captain, Riverboat Traveler, French Voyageur, Lumberjack Camp Cook, William Aitkin, Norwegian Immigrants, and much more. 1700's Encampment: Rendezvous Traders Row - candy, trinkets, food, and fur traders. Food/refreshment booths will be available for lunch purchases or there are picnic areas on the grounds. Many musical performers are on three different stages throughout the weekend. You can expect to hear Celtic, Scandinavian, Old Country, Gospel, Banjo, Bluegrass, Finnish, Traditional Barn Dances, Old Fashioned Stories, and Native American Dancers. We are trying to expand our event. We are searching for rendezvous and reenactment participants.

Old Washington is a unique community consisting of varied archeticture dating back to the 1790's. There are orginal log cabins and and buildings that go into the federal period. Our event portrays events that happen in early Western Virginia during the 18th century. We focus on the early settlers that were here during that time. There is an outdoor historical drama and we also have a primitive encampment. This five day event ends on the last Sunday in Septmember and starts the Wednesday prior.
