The Southeastern Cultural Society is a new organization, superceding the Florida Indian Reenactment Society (FIRES). With our new name comes a much expanded time period and region, our membership participates in living history and reenactments from the 18th and 19th century throughout the Southeastern U.S. Our organization is open to all persons who portray Southeastern Native peoples or who have a strong interest. We produce a great 16-page newsletter bi-monthly and are planning an annual conference. Please visit our web site at http://www.SoutheasternCulture.com.
